The Start! (MME 2008)

In early April, Choon's Motorworks decided 2008 will be the year they enter their first MME (Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race) The team, run by director, Eddie Ng quickly put together a team of drivers and crew. Since it was the teams maiden year and a lack of sponsors restricted the teams budget, Choon's decided to enter Class C - production cars 1600cc and below, therefore our choice- The Honda Civic VTi EG6.

The Merdeka Millennium Endurance race is labeled as 'Asia's Biggest Race'. Alot of work and preparation is needed especially since its the first time our team is taking part. Our class, Class C, is known to be the most competitive class amongst all. Whats worse, this year, to encourage higher participation from faster cars, Class O and Class A, Sepang has decided to reduce the number of entries in Classes B and C. Last year class C allowed a healthy 25 qualifiers but his year its been reduced to just 18. Therefore qualifying is going to be even more competitive at this point.
